Almacam Tube is a complete 3D CAD/CAM solution for programming CNC tube, pipe, profile, and beam cutting machines. It brings 3D design, CAD import, automatic section recognition, tube nesting, cutting preparation, machine simulation, and NC programming together in one integrated environment.
The software can import individual 3D parts or complete assemblies, automatically retrieve quantities, recognize tube sections, and prepare parts for production. Users can also design tubes and profiles directly, modify imported geometry, unfold or unbend parts, and create assembly connections such as notches.
Almacam Tube automatically prepares cutting trajectories, operation sequences, and cutting conditions according to the capabilities of the target machine. It can also support machines combining thermal cutting with mechanical processes such as drilling, milling, tapping, and flow drilling.
Advanced nesting optimizes tubes and profiles of different section types, supports nesting in reusable offcuts, and manages common cuts. Before production, realistic machine simulation validates cutting feasibility against axis travel, speeds, accelerations, and collision risks. Final NC programs are generated using machine-specific post-processors.
